As the date for the Mike Tyson–Jake Paul fight draws closer, the influencer-turned-boxer Paul has vowed to undo Tyson’s records in boxing history with a win in the upcoming fight.
In a recent press conference, the two men had a chance to build more hype ahead of the four-fight card in Arlington, Texas in July.
The fight is sanctioned by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations but will not have the normal three-minute rounds. Instead, it’ll be eight two-minute rounds. Both boxers will use 14-ounce gloves that are heavier than usual.
While Paul is listed at 6-foot-1 and reportedly weighs 230 pounds, up from his usual fighting weight of 200 pounds, Tyson weighs 5-foot-10 and fought at 220 pounds in his most recent exhibition bout.
